City Barbeque launches improved online ordering, enhanced app

Partnerships with Olo and Punchh allow for faster online ordering, additional app functionality

City Barbeque (www.citybbq.com) has launched a brand-new online ordering system, powered by digital ordering platform Olo. Additionally, the fast-casual has collaborated with customer platform Punchh to release a new and enhanced City Rewards loyalty app, with improved mobile ordering and rewards, now available in the App Store and Google Play.

With City Barbeque’s new online ordering, guests can order the brand’s award-winning barbeque, scratch-made sides, and indulgent desserts online at order.citybbq.com. Features of City Barbeque’s new online ordering include:

  • The ability to order ahead (or even from the parking lot) to skip the line
  • Scheduling features to suggest the best time to pick up food without a wait
  • Group ordering for the office
  • Photos of every menu item
  • The ability to save favorite orders and payment information for faster ordering
  • Full integration with City Rewards, so guests can use rewards and earn points when ordering online

Members of City Rewards, City Barbeque’s loyalty program, can take advantage of this improved mobile ordering right from the new City Barbeque app. These updates allow loyalty members to:

  • Order City Barbeque favorites with the app’s new integrated single sign-on
  • Earn points for every purchase made in-app
  • Redeem loyalty rewards, right from the app
  • Get special offers and surprises, exclusively for app users
  • Find the closest City Barbeque joint
  • Refer friends to earn additional rewards
