about our ingredients

Amish-raised, antibiotic-free chicken. St. Louis–cut ribs, hand-painted with our own secret-recipe sauce. Cornbread baked fresh every morning. And, of course, every meat smoked on-site over local hickory wood. It takes a lot to craft the city’s best barbeque, but you’ve got to start with great ingredients (and we do).

The nutritional values we’ve listed are based on our standard recipes and preparation methods, as well as information provided by our suppliers. Values for individual products may vary due to small differences in serving size, preparation methods, adjustments from our suppliers, and substitutions. Due to these factors, we can’t guarantee complete accuracy of our nutrition information.

Everything at City Barbeque is prepared on-site. Teammates in our joints handle ingredients including common allergens (sesame, wheat, peanuts, soy, tree nuts, milk, eggs, fish, and shellfish), and our smokers and kitchens use shared equipment with all our fresh ingredients. We will always indicate when a menu item contains a certain allergen, but we can’t guarantee any of our menu items are completely allergen-free.

Feel free to bookmark this page and check back, as our recipes do change slightly from time to time. Please also note not every menu item is served at every location: You may see menu items referenced here that aren’t on the menu at your local City Barbeque joint.
