To get the maximum rewards, you can download the app by searching for City BBQ on the Apple Store or Google Play. Don’t have a smartphone – no problem, you can sign up online. See the button above, click “Sign Up” and you are on your way. If you were a card based member from our prior program, follow the instructions in the app or sign up forms for transferring your points and rewards.
When you download the app, you will get a free drink immediately, a free piece of triple chocolate cake on your 2nd visit, and an additional $5 reward on your 3rd visit. App users can easily check their points balance and rewards totals, and will receive additional special offers throughout the year. The app is the easiest way to manage your account, get rewards and be in the know on what is happening.
You can easily transfer your previous rewards card points and rewards balance to the new program. Simply follow the instructions for linking your account in the app. If you won’t be using the app, registered users should sign in using the button above and use the “forgot password” link to set up a new password. (Sorry, we needed to do this for security reasons). If you were an unregistered member (you always used your card, and never gave us your email/phone number), click on the “sign up” button, enter your card number and the other related information and we will link your account.
If you tried to sign up with your card number and is says your phone number or email have already been taken, it is very likely that you were a fully registered member of our previous program. If this is the case, simply press the sign in (or log in) button and click "forgot password". Follow the instructions from that point forward.
If you tried to link your account and had difficulty, send us an email email@example.com … we will help you out as quickly as possible. We will need certain information from you including: Name, email address on account, phone number, and membership card number if you have it. Just let us know what problem you are having and we will do our best to fix it.
Sorry to give you all this legalese, but since you asked – here ya go… We are sensitive to the private nature of information you provide to us. We will protect your personal information. We will send you emails and notifications from time to time with information about the program or special offers and rewards. If at any time you no longer wish to receive communications from us, you are free to "opt out" of receiving these communications. We will never call you unless you ask us to, we ask for your phone number so we can look up your account in the restaurant. We ask you for your birthday because in some states there are laws regarding the age of loyalty members (you need to be over 13 years old)… we’d also like to send you a B-day cake. We ask your anniversary date (totally optional) so we can send something for you and your sweetie to enjoy on your special day.

You can earn points on every transaction you make, however, the system only allows barcodes to be scanned once every 3 hours. You can also redeem one offer per transaction. The system requires 3 hours between offer redemptions. When you use a redeemable reward, you will automatically earn points on the remainder of your balance.
There are a few reasons why this may have occurred. Most common is that you already got the points. You can check this by looking at your account history in the app. Another possible reason is if the receipt is older than 15 days old the barcode expires. Finally, if you scanned a barcode to earn points in the last 3 hours, you can’t scan one again for another 3 hours. Regardless, we can help you out – just let us know the situation and we can research it and help you. Send us the barcode # to email@example.com along with your name and member email address and we will sort it out.
